Kam Tang lives and works from his home in London and is one of the UK’s best kept creative secrets. Naturally shy of publicity, his creative output is poetic, contemplative and can best be typified by his meticulous attention to detail and constant reinvention.
Kam’s specific strength lies in his vector drawings; he has the rare ability to produce line work that feels warm and human. Such skills have found their way onto premium product, packaging and branding work, as well as album covers for The Chemical Brothers and Gnarls Barkley. Kam has exhibited widely, with his work for Herman Miller in particular being kept in the collection of the Smithsonian Design Museum – Cooper Hewitt.
