Kam Tang and Darren Wall a.k.a Wallzo recently collaborated on Wallpaper* Handmade. It was the magazine’s most ambitious project to date, an exhibition to celebrate craftsmanship and design. Kam and Wallzo were asked to create an identity for the event, the solution consisted of an intricately drawn seal utilised in numerous different ways around the show. The invitations featured an embossed version of the seal on a specially commissioned handmade paper, while an ink stamp version was used to decorate other literature. Finally, the pair produced a unique triptych which hung in the exhibition featuring abstract forms representing raw materials and working processes. The new album from Foals is out now. ‘Total Life Forever’ is the follow up to their 2008 debut ‘Antidotes’ and sees an evolution in the band’s sound which is reflected in the new imagery created for the band by their good friend and outsider artist Tinhed. The underwater shots of the band are by Steve Guillick. Big Active made the art work.
