We really like the cover image of Philip Glass that Siggi Eggertsson has created for the Feb 1st cover of The Village Voice, which includes Siggi’s take on the magazine’s logo. Glass’ portrait was commissioned by The Village Voice on the occassion of his seventy-fifth birthday. See more of Siggi’s work here.

Siggi Eggertsson’s latest personal project sees him taking posters from the first half of the 20th century, stripping out their main images and autotracing the type. By removing the subject images and flattening out the colours, Siggi draws attention to the shape of the type, rather than what the text is saying. Visit Typography, autotraced here.
