Kam Tang at Wallpaper Handmade

Kam Tang and Darren Wall a.k.a Wallzo recently collaborated on Wallpaper* Handmade. It was the magazine’s most ambitious project to date, an exhibition to celebrate craftsmanship and design. Kam and Wallzo were asked to create an identity for the event, the solution consisted of an intricately drawn seal utilised in numerous different ways around the show. The invitations featured an embossed version of the seal on a specially commissioned handmade paper, while an ink stamp version was used to decorate other literature. Finally, the pair produced a unique triptych which hung in the exhibition featuring abstract forms representing raw materials and working processes. Visitors to the exhibition received a limited print of the artwork. For more on the event, go to the Creative Review blog.
