New Collection By Sanna
Sanna Annukka’s first collection for Marimekko will arrive in shops in February. Her theme is Finland’s national literary epic The Kalevala – and the graphics explore the enchanted imagery and magic symbolism of the text. The collection includes fabrics, a whole array of homeware products and accessories including handbags, cosmetic bags and purses. Marimekko recently invited journalists to an open day where they turned their entire mill into a fairy tale environment by using Sanna’s fabrics to reflect the nature of the collection.
