We want to welcome on board Simon Dunmore’s Defected Records label as a new client. Over the coming months we will be overseeing all aspects of their branding and identity, with a view developing a robust visual approach for today’s fragmented music market. We were invited to present our artists and photographers at this year’s Le Book Connections event at the Royal Horticultural Halls in London. The idea is to exhibit portfolios at one great big meet and greet – where agents, creatives, art buyers (and anyone else lucky enough to blag a ticket) can all get together and discover some talented new artists – whilst reviewing portfolios, catching up with old colleagues, and hopefully doing some business in between the free drinks. This year we presented new work by new Big Active artists Jesse Auersalo and Filipe Jardim as well as photographer William Selden.

2008 marked our third season working with Ibiza Rocks. And the highlight this summer quite apart from all the legendary shows (The Enemy and Pendulum being our particular favorites), was the opening of the Ibiza Rocks Hotel. Situated in San Antonio, the three hundred and fifty room Ibiza Rocks Hotel is now the spiritual home of the festival, host to many of the events and and ground zero for the excess and debauched partying of many of it’s punters. And if you’re too fucked to find your way back to your room after a muther of a night out, we’ve designed the giant logo in the swimming pool so that it should be visible on google maps – assuming you haven’t lost your i-phone somewhere along the way…
