Mimi Leung Biography

Mimi Leung studied at Central St Martins and the Royal College of Art in London. She currently lives in a small village at the foot of a big mountain in the countryside of Hong Kong, spending her time painting and looking for fun things to brighten up her day. When not painting, Mimi makes music and has a track on the ICA's Heavy Pencil compilation CD (2009). This track was recorded in the Australian outback where she spent three months mixing paint for Aboriginal artists and touching up their canvases.

Mimi Leung enjoys clashing colours and tries to use them wrecklessly in her work.
